Red Howlite "Red Carpet Warriors" with Ribbon Pendant

Meet Paula Corrieri, a devoted mother and passionate advocate in the fight against blood cancer. After tragically losing her 15-year-old son, Rocco, to acute myeloid leukemia (AML) in 2022, Paula turned her heartbreak into purpose. Now, as a dedicated member of Red Carpet Warriors, an NJ non-profit organization, she continues to honor Rocco’s courageous battle by raising awareness and funds to support pediatric cancer patients and their families.

In 2025, Paula and the Red Carpet Warriors have been nominated to take part in The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Visionaries of the Year campaign—a powerful ten-week initiative to fund life-saving research, patient support, and advocacy.

To support Paula’s mission and celebrate Rocco’s brave fight, Oriana designed a special Armcandy for a Cause bracelet featuring red howlite beads. The vibrant red symbolizes strength, courage, and love—qualities that Rocco embodied and that Paula continues to carry forward. Red howlite is also known to promote peace and emotional healing, making it the perfect tribute to a young warrior gone too soon.
